Here is a question for those who have moved to Ecuador. Once one is situated, have acquired a place to live - house, condo, apartment. furnished it and foundwhere things are located. What to do? you can only spend so much time eating and shopping.
Here, at least while we are scraping by and surviving, over 1/2 of our waking hours are spent getting to work, working, getting home, worrying about work etc. etc. etc.
as in retireemt, one needs to find something meaningful to do. Is there a need that we can fulfill? I want to do something other than sit in (the equivalent of) a South American nursing home waitng to die!
Your thoughs please.

The next Chapter Ecuador?
In our search for the nect adventure in our lives, we stumbled across the little country of Ecuador. My first thought was On the equator? Gotta be hotter than blazes all the time. After all, we have lived in places like California, Florida, Georgia. All of them had blistering hot summers.
Then we started checking, Hey!at altitude the temps are much milder - all year round.
Much to learn before we commit.
